In depth, interestingly laid out exhibits on Montreal's history and a fascinating temporary exhibit on 1600s Paris. Included a short virtual reality experience. The museum is bilingual and parking is discounted with purchase of museum tickets. Beautiful spot for a picnic.
Excellent venue. Cool exhibition in Paris. Well organized, and though parking is a bit expensive,it's definitely convenient.
Very cute little museum along the Biosphere area. It shows the interesting history of Montreal and had a fun interactive games exhibition when I was there. There is also a observation deck that offers a nice view of the city alongside the river.
Museum is really nice, with a big collection to see. They have a interesting short Virtual Reality experience for the City of Light (PARIS ON DISPLAY) exhibition. The system of looking for the objects descriptions is a little odd; you have to keep a kind of manual with you, though it has interesting information about the objects and about the history of the period that they where used or created.
Nice museum off the beaten track. Located on beautiful Ile Saint Helen. The permanent exhibit on the history of Montreal is very interesting. Located in an old fort built by the English in the early 1800's, the place is filled with history. Beautiful views of downtown from the courtyard.
