I would recommend this place for everyone who is interested into information about our world, pollution and the way things can change the future. The venue is very spectacular with its round shaped building.On the inside you can walk through different rooms and interact on certain subjects - so people get involved into all the matters that are shown at the biosphere. When you get to the top of the biosphere platform you get a beautiful view around Montreal City. If you have time, take a look and spend 2-3 hours at this place. Since there is a very nice open air pool - you should bring your swim trunks in summertime :)
Very nice girls helping us make the most of our one hour visit time limit. But most of all OLIVER - YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Oliver did a presentation for the kids in the garden. I wish we just stayed there the whole time. He was so patient with all of the kids climbing around him and digging through his interesting artifacts. I can't get over how patient he was with them and how enthusiastic he was answering all their questions. This kind of character is one in a million. Best part of the visit.
Cool building with a variety of different environmental exhibits. My favorites were the one on climate change and the one with explanations of the different methods of generating power. I also enjoyed the exhibit on the environment of Montreal. Only 4 stars because I was a little surprised by how quickly I was able to walk through the museum. Although it wasn't the highlight of my day (botanical gardens are #1), seeing the architecture up close was worth the trip.
Is an amazing interesting place. Full of knowledge inside. Well organized with a beautiful customer service.Everything inside is science, with a 360 degrees video room never seen for us, combined with special effects of rain, winds and light.One very modern lab allows visitors to see on the microscope different microorganisms living inside the contaminated waters.On top of everything the metal structure complete the great vision about this museum.Is a place to be visited at least one time in our lives.
Interesting displays on the ecology of Canada set inside a dramatic dome structure left over from the 1960's Montreal Expo. Displays include galleries on meteorology and climate and renewable energy. There are lots of hands-on and multimedia exhibits to get kids engaged. The museum offers guided nature tours of the surrounding park land. From the viewing platform at the top of the museum you can get great views across the St. Lawrence River.
