Very interesting place. Goose bumps. Very sad stories,even sadder that it all happened :-(
I have a particular interest in WW2 and specifically the atrocities of the holocaust. We were going to be visiting Montreal and discovered online that this museum existed. I'm happy I went, lots of information, stories, pictures and artifacts. The museum provides an iPad and headphones to make it interactive. Give yourself lots of time to fully experience it. At the end of the visit there is a quiet room of remembrance that was very very moving.
Small museum inside the Jewish library in Montral. Very interesting exhibits. If you happen to go on a Sunday, it's free and you might see a survivor, that will explain what happened to him.
Very well preserved and presented memories of the holocaust years as well as the Canadian presence in it. Small place filled with different media to illustrate that horrible past. Good for history fans not so much for small kids.
It was an "okay" museum and not very big so don't expect spending all afternoon there. I would have wanted it to be more interactive, but the museum mostly consists of pictures and miscellaneous objects.
