very mixed experience but overall not great...emergency is terrible, long waiting period with crackheads everywhere.I was once told that I was having muscle pain when really my kidneys were failing...but I was hospitalized a few times for longer periods of time and that's really where they shine.The new appointment system is great, you simply scan your medicare card and the waiting period is not too long.The specialist are really far on the spectrum..some are good..others are just completely terrible.
An absolutely awful experience. Despite my repeated requests for privacy, hospital broke confidentiality and gave my information out, even allowing a visitor to my room whom I had specifically asked be kept away. I was not informed about the course of my medical treatment whatsoever, and doctors completely disregarded typical procedure for making a decision on my case. I have since been advised by another psychiatrist to pursue a complaint against CHUM for clearly breaking the law while caring for me.
Wait time is long as any other hospital...but service is really good. Very Friendly... the Cafeteria is the best i have seen, with a lot of food and really good price. Two can eat well with $20
Waiting time was the worst I ever experienced in all the hospital where I ever been. I have been here since 5pm and as I am writing now, it is 11pm and we still havent seen the doctor. I would advise everyone to go everywhere else before coming here.1:36am, we still here and no doctor or nurse came and we came in the emergency. Should we get a bullet in the leg to be receive here or what ?? This is so ridiculous! Never go there please.Worst hospital I ever visited.
Ive never been but how can a hospital who is supposed to be thoughtful that is surrounded by hotels allow for construction crews to jack hammer before 8 am on a Saturday. Rude! Like just about sveryone else in Montreal.Rudest most thoughtless people Ive ever had the displeasure of being around. The only people who were nice were from other countries. I love Canada but Im sorry if Jack hammering near hotels early in the am is not thoughtless and rude then I guess Im confusing their definitions.
