Would have given 0 stars if possible. Management does not care about the gym and discriminates powerlifters and bodybuilders. Furthermore, it is crowded and there is no ventilation, there are two fans that get used by the classes. Finally, ALL the machines are old and not well maintained.The only thing good is the people, location and few staff member but a lot of them hate their job.
Ive been going to this gym for about 3 years now and honestly it was purely out of convenience since I live so close. But it is truly one of the worst gyms in Montreal. The equipment is always broken, the showers never work, the water fountains sometimes have no water or worse hot water, the ventilation sucks (always smells in there), half the lockers dont close, Its always crowded, the creeps and weirdos are everywhere, the music is terrible, and the classes look like a joke. To top it all off, today I had an awful experience with the new lady at the front desk who thinks she owns the place. She refused to renew my membership and wanted me to go home and get her my diploma so she would believe that Im an alumni. Its safe to say I wont be returning to this god awful gym anymore. You pay the same at the YMCA and get a lot more. Just avoid this gym if you can.
Good student price, decent equipment but it's always cramped and the hours aren't the best. Plus the showers are often either freezing or scorching hot.
Great gym for the price, especially if you go at odd hours. They got every little gym quipement you need.
Usually, if you go in the day time, it's a waste of a workout... they have loads of decent equipment, but too many members to make using the equipment in series based on a routine all the while maintaining your pump and heart rate impossible. It's the Concordia Econofitness.
