An very good neighborhood grocer with friendly, if overworked, staff. Good selection of all the basics, beer, wine, cheese, meats and produce. It's come a long way in the last 20 years an. I'd give it a 4.5 but it suffers from it's small size in two ways: 1: the neighborhood population has swelled in the last 10 years, yet the building is still the same. They need to take over some of the adjacent places there on Gautier. 2: The isles are clogged with waaay too many island displays. An already small space is made even smaller buy the numerous pop-out or free-standing product racks. These racks usually contain useless stuff like yet more corn-chips and sodas, chocolates, etc. Very irritating with everyone grumbling to get past, it's like getting stuck in a highway 20 cone sphincter. They could easily loose all of these and still maintain the diversity of 'real' things people buy. That said, I'm very glad they are nearby, especially in Feb.
Very reasonable prices compared to bigger metros. Meat and veggies are always fresh there. They have fresh baguettes too
Good varieties and fair prices. I like that it has a good selection of wines and vegan products.
Nice neighbourhood supermarket. It opens until late, which is great if you need to go right after work to grab some ingredients for dinner. Their food selection is not as big as other Metro because of their size, but it is the same quality and great price. The people that work there are really nice and friendly.
Two starts only for the very nice staff. But the food is over priced and most importantly is the hygiene issues.
