This Canadian Tire has the staff that I couldn't find and then suddenly I was surrounded by 10 of people because I asked a question and although they weren't very capable of answering it immediately they made a really huge effort and before I knew it there was 7 people Consulting on my one little question. The place is packed to the hilt with very little I'll room but it has tons of stuff in the place and nothing to complain about here. It's a good store and more than that it has an excellent staff. If you can find him you'll be pleased with her service. This visit to Canadian Tire I discovered that there's two price systems for light bulbs on sale that are LED bulbs... $0.50 of bulb on sale in Ontario Just across the border. Triple the price here in Quebec. It was an interesting Discovery for us all including the entire staff and the customer service person whom I telephoned. Based on the staff alone, I'd say this Canadian Tire is very well worth returning to.
While there is still some work to be done in terms of the staff. There is a major improvement. It's the closest place to buy tools etc. So its practically if you are in the area instead of driving far to bigger stores. Hopefully will see some more improvements of staff and variety of products. By the way Canadian Tire is trying, it seems, to work on their branding and go online more. I think they need to hire a better company that there using now
Purchased a bottle of lubricant advertised as 8.49, scanned as 10.99. I invoked the scanner code of practice to get the product for free. After having been given the runaround twice and a heated debate, I finally got my item for free. Sometimes it's not the money, it's about getting off on mentally crushing your opponent.
My review specifically concerns the auto centre. Avoid!!! They will rip you off. I went there recently because it was close to home. They gave me an estimate of over 2k for repairs. I went to another Canadian Tire to get a 2nd opinion. They found the problem and fixed it for less than $300. They also said that 2 out of the 3 repairs the CDN Canadian Tire quoted me were just plain wrong and that there were no repairs needed. Do not go there. If you break down nearby, get towed somewhere else.
If you gonna see how could be the worse customer service of your life, you can head to this Canadian tire auto service. I wanted to swap my winter tire with summer ones, they told me I should go there 7:30 in the morning for reception. I arrived at 7:35 and a few people were in the line. Amazingly, only one staff, unbelievably slow and completely naive with computer was responsible for check in. Only one person in peak time!!! I stayed 20 minutes and he was still processing the first customer, only for tire change check in. I was number 6 in queue and simply could estimate that I should wait for more than 1 hour and half to check in. I have no idea who is the manager there and who organizes the working schedule, though, I'm pretty sure, they don't care if you wait for 1 hour to only ask a question.
