So much construction. Was there for a climbing competition and wanted to check out the venue. Ive heard great things about this park but the huge amount of construction ruined the atmosphere
Currently undergoing a lot of renovation so lots of building sites and not much going on - also in off season. Enjoyed what we could see though and really look forward to going back when it's completed.
Has several outdoor games for family and kids. I strongly recommend. Note you have to pay to gain entrance
This was a large park located on an island just a short way from the mainland of Montreal, on the St. Lawrence River. I took the subway (yellow line) there from downtown and visited for about an hour. There were some pretty walking trails through the woods which were peaceful and lovely to explore and lots of green spaces to picnic or relax. I also enjoyed taking photos of the Biosphere. The island also had an outdoor swimming pool, beach and La Ronde Amusement Park. There was some major construction going on during my visit, so some areas looked pretty messy, but I am sure it will look much better in the future.
It's all about "Picknick lectrique" every Sunday during the summer season. Life DJs performing sweet sounds in a chilled park environment.
