Great spot! I came in today while they were close to closing with six loads and they accommodated me happily. Very friendly staff and they even helped me wash and fold my laundry. If you live in the area and don't have a machine of your own, this is your spot.
After the ownership changed, I had to switch laundromats because they went from $2 a load to ... $4!!!! Insanely overpriced, especially considering how old and inefficient the machines are. Also, I had my jeans patched very poorly by the woman working here, and that cost $15 . (My jeans have ripped again in the same spot since)
The washing machines are old, very tiny and they overcharge (4$ for a very small wash. I usually pay 2.50$ for a washing machine twice the size that does a much better cleaning job.) Because the duration of the spin takes an unusually long time, the owner offered me to put my laundry in the dryer so I don't have to come back two times. I thought it was really nice so I accepted but when I came back, I realised that she didn't put my bath mat and my little dog's cushion in the dryer, saying that she didn't want those things in her machines. I don't know if it's because her dryer are really not efficient, because I wash and dry those every week and it never left a thing in the machines. Plus, it was really an inconvenience to be left with those things soaked and wet in the winter, too late to go elsewhere. So be warned that if you go there it's possible you would not be able to wash certain items, and it's not indicated which ones are not accepted.
Not exactly sure what happened but I paid $18 and she washed and folded about 40 lbs of laundry. Worth a look if you're a bachelor on a budget
